This book is about an eleven year old boy name Gregor and his two year old sister named Boots who fall down a whole in their laundry room. What they fall into is place called the Underland. In the Underland, there are other humans and their worst enemy is rats. Gregor finds out that he is the warrior in a prophecy. Based on the prophecy, Gregor has to go on an adventure to rescue his father and destroy the Rat King.
