This book was so highly reviewed and recommended at Barnes and Noble and by the critics, but I found it very disappointing. I have experienced losing a brother in a car accident (he was 12) and recently lost my mother as well, so I thought it would ring true to me, but instead I found it very detached, and far more focused on the author’s issues with eating and sexuality than with grieving. Granted, I’m sure her eating issues were directly tied to her grief, but overall, I found it to be a big disappointment.
