As always in this series, someone gets kidnapped (sort of) and some other people have to go and save that person, but it’s not the usual person that gets kidnapped (the princess) and its not the usual person that does the kidnapping (a member of the family who I can’t name because how am I supposed to know if you’ve read the book?)Instead, the whole problem is caused by a ghost! Septimus learns alchemy! I recommend reading this book at night because the pictures are especially scary then!
