This book was an old world type book (they spell vampire with a 'y' (vampyre)) but it was still really good. It was about a girl that was a maid in a way, and her maden was kidnaped by the Dark Angel. She has to find the Dark Angel and try to kill him... well she finds him alright but she can't kill him... insted she falls in love with him. She wants to free him from the Fair Witch named Lorelei because if she doesn't she WILL have to kill him because he needs blood from one more beutiful maden and that maden just might be her...
This book is the first of the Dark Angel trlogy. the other two are A Gathering of Gargoyles and The Pearl of the Soul of the World.
