It was very good, but the intertwining of 3 story lines with 3 writing styles didn't work for me. There were so many voices in each story that it was distracting. It wasn't totally clear to me what was fact & what was fiction

I thought the three stories was interesting and thought that once I got accustomed to it, it was easy to follow.
Really interesting book, and, though slow at the beggining, it turns into quite the page turner.
I’d defintetly reccommend it.

An excellent read!
I was amazed by the amount of research done by David Ebershoff and the intriguing way he wove the stories together. Fact? Fiction? He makes it clear in the interview included at the end of the paperback.
