CONSENSUS: "Given the subject matter, "Valkyrie" could have been an outstanding historical thriller, but settles for being a mildly entertaining, but disposable yarn." MOTIVATION FOR ME TO SEE: I guess I want to compare Tom's performance to the History Channel's take on the subject, and the doc "Operation Valkyrie: the Stauffenberg plot to kill Hitler" (2008) that I saw a few months ago. Being totally sick of holocaust guilt trips I chose to skip this depressing film.
