I wasn’t impressed after my first listen-through, but since I didn’t have any other CDs checked out I ended up listening to it in my car for about a week. Now that all of the songs are more familiar, I’ve found that I am quite fond of a few of them. This album is definitely of a different style from Amos’ earliest work, but it is charming in its own way.
