This book starts off giving her background and things that lead to where she is now. The main character in this novel is an inspiring girl who goes through struggles that she never expected as hse decides to move out and journey on her own. Then to her surprise she ends up with a little girl whom she doesnt know anythign about. as she travels and takes care of this baby girl she finds things out she never knew. This book is inspiring and adventurous. It is a book i would read over and over.

I had picked this book up a couple of times over the years but never got it read. Finally did after reading Poisonwood Bible. Good book with a message that there are all kinds of families and that no matter where you go, there you are:)
