What other readers are saying about this title:
This book is about ten-year-old Melody. She has cerebral palsy and she can’t walk or talk...until she gets a computer that talks for her. She types in what she wants to say, and it says it. This book was very interesting, and I definitely recommend it.

:O Such a sad book that you think you'll predict....but honestly can't. It's like you're seeing this poor girl Melody through her own eyes! Craziness.

yo its meeee said:
about a girl with cerebral palsy. she cant talk walk, write or barely even move. she is probably the smartest person in her school but no one knows it because she is not allowed to go to regular classes and cannot talk. the other kids reject her when she manages to get a spot on the quiz team and they win regionals and get to go to nationals in DC. this book really opened my eyes to realize that people with disabilities are real people too and they actually have a brain with thoughts and sometimes, they just cant communicate them.
