I didn’t read the first book (Waiting to Exhale) in this two-book series and maybe that would have helped. Although this book helped passed the time, it was a bit hard for me to get into. Although this is a term I really dislike the term Chick Book, I can’t think of how else to describe this book. Although not terrible, I would rate this book as a B minus, at best.

I’ve read many of Terry McMillan’s books, including Waiting to Exhale - and this was not among my favorites. It was another quick read and modestly entertaining. Looking forward to more from her, though. I agree with the other review (TED) B- at best.
