What other readers are saying about this title:
This book introduced me to a new side to Lisa Scottoline. Though the plot was a little far fetched, it was still quite compelling. I really enjoyed it. 8 of 10 for me.

Rose McKenna, lunch mom and parent of a bullied child, lives through a kitchen explosion and fire at school. After directing two girls out of the building she has to go back and rescue her daughter who is locked in a bathroom. After they barely make it out she discovers one of the other girls, who just happens to be her daughter’s bully, ran back into the school and is gravely injured. What follows is just so utterly ridiculous that as I listened to this book in my car I had to stop the audiobook occasionally to yell at the characters. Maybe I can accept that the whole town would hate this woman but when she begins to investigate the explosion and discovers a conspiracy which ends in a horrible bloody fight in a potato chip factory it’s just laughable.
