Every international business student should read this book. Everyone who sponsors a student in Africa should read this book. Everyone who uses a battery during the day should read this book. As a Minnesotan, used to days that vary in length depending on the season, I was surprised to learn that people living near the equator have 12 hours of daylight the entire year. Early night fall with no electricity... an obvious need for good batteries! But the business climate in Ghana is quite different than in the West. You will enjoy the friendly tone of this book, and you will like reading about the challenges these brothers faced as they tried to make money and empower poor people at the same time.
