After reading Killing Lincoln and enjoying it thoroughly, I was really looking forward to reading this book. And historically, it does not disappoint. It really turns learning about history into an adventure, and that aspect was really great. I suppose the only reason I personally didn’t like it much was because of all the wierd stuff going on his Kennedy’s life-affairs, bringing women into the White House, stuff like that. It just creeped me out, even though I knew he was having affairs before reading this. And the scene of his death was so gory-much worse then Lincoln’s death. But besides that, I really enjoyed the book and highly reccomend it-if you have a good stomache.
