It was an interesting book, though not really my type of book. I found many of the characters rather passive-especially the women-, but for the most part the story was interesting and realistic. The writing style was very simple and easy to read, though the author’s jumping around from perspectives and times made it a bit difficult to understand at times. It was pretty historically acurate, but a bit emotional for my taste. All-over, I liked it, though I will not be running to read it again anytime soon.
