A great departure from Connelly’s Harry Bosch novels. Still entertaining. I’m not usually into "anti-heros" but Cassie Black is a good one - you really care about her and her plight. Won’t knock your socks off - a few too many "relvelations" at the end to be plausible - but a good solid read.

One of the better Connelly books I’ve read that didn’t involve Harry Bosch (though there are many more of his books I still need to read). Other reviews here said it well... Though there’s no “good guy” in the novel (the primary characters are all criminals), the story is still riveting as you find yourself pulling for the lesser of two — or three — evils. Connelly’s characters and plots never disappoint. Check out this book today!

Great read from beginning to end--you expect one thing and something else happens (sign of a great suspense novel)!! I really enjoyed this story. 9 of 10 for me.
