I loved it! Janette Oke is a great writer and did a very good job with the storyline of Love Comes Softly. The plot is somtimes sad and other times very humorous! I think that Janette Oke did a neat job of writing this book so that I could completely relate to what was happening with the characters. I am so glad there are more books in the series!!

My grandmother recommended Janette Oke books and, after liking the movie, I decided to read it. It was like reading a bad Laura Ingalls book. The history was alright, but it was so boring. The characters were moderately good, but they were so stylized and didn’t react the way people do in real life. The idea was good, but it was a bit dull.
