Paws to Read With an Animal
Saturday, April 26, 2:30–4:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 24, 2:30–4:30 p.m.

For families. Volunteers will help put young readers at ease so they can cuddle up with a certified therapy animal and practice reading aloud. Most libraries host dogs and you can call ahead to see if other animals will be visiting.

For families. Disfruta de un baile mexicano por estudiantes de Windom Dual Immersion School y Windom Enrichment Resource Center (WERC) y de cuentos en español por miembros de la escuela y la comunidad. Habrá una exhibición de arte por los estudiantes en abril.
Este proyecto ha sido financiado con dinero del Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Presentado en colaboración con Windom Dual Immersion School y Windom Enrichment Resource Center (WERC).

Enjoy a Mexican dance presentation by students from Windom Dual Immersion School and Windom Enrichment Resource Center (WERC) and stories read in Spanish by members of the school community. Student artwork will be displayed during April.

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: the Friends of the Library will hold a sale of hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback. Most books are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. 
Thursday, May 1, 5-7 p.m. Washburn Friends members only. Join at the door!
