Global Folk: Roe Family Singers

For families. All ages. How often do you get to bounce to the rhythms of banjo, guitar, autoharp, washboard and kazoo? Get the whole family dancing with this award-winning homegrown band that plays good-time, old-time hillbilly music.

The Hobbit

Entering K-grade 6. I dare say, you'll want to bring your creativity and hobbit-sense to this workshop. I've heard tell that you'll build a hobbit house along with many mythical creatures out of Model Magic to animate your very own legendary tale. Materials provided.

Art Out of the Box: Handmade Portraits

Entering grades 2-5. Museum-trained teens will take you on a hands-on exploration of portraits from the museum. Turn your idea of self-image on its head with a playful approach to a timeless art form. Leave with a sketchbook to keep drawing whenever inspiration strikes!
