Art of Memory: Memory Book

For adults 55+. Create a personal book perfect for drawing, painting, collaging and writing your favorite memories. Then, share your memories with others and explore new ways to capture them. Materials provided.

Celebrate Asian New Year: Thailand
Saturday, April 26, 2 p.m.
For families. Kick off the Year of the Horse with Thai fruit carving and hands-on activities. Learn about Thai Water Festival and enjoy traditional dances. You're welcome to attend in traditional clothing.

Peters, writer and human rights advocate, will discuss his inspirational new book “A Dive Too Deep.” Beginning with an accident that left him quadriplegic, the book chronicles the challenges and opportunities of the life that followed. Books will be available for purchase.

Used Book Sale

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: the Friends of the Library will hold a sale of hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback. Most books are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library.
