Súper Kínder: listos para el kínder/Súper Kínder: A School Readiness Program for Latinos
Tuesdays, June 11–Aug. 13, 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
For families. ¡Aprenda como preparar a sus niños para entrar al kínder! La Biblioteca Oxboro ofrecerá una clase gratis en español para los niños que van a entrar al kínder en septiembre y sus padres o quien los cuida. Una vez a la semana le enseñaremos como preparar a su niño para entrar a la escuela con actividades divertidas que podrán hacer en casa. Este programa es gratis y está diseñado especialmente para familias que hablan español como primer idioma. Inscríbase directamente en la Biblioteca Oxboro o llame al 612-543-5648.

Altoid Tin Mini-books

Entering grades 7-12. Repurpose empty Altoid tins into journals with a natural theme. These tiny accordion books will have pockets for collecting, pages for recording your thoughts and plenty of room for making collages, and more. Materials included.

Art Out of the Box: Handmade Portraits

Entering grades 2-5. Museum-trained teens will take you on a hands-on exploration of portraits from the museum. Turn your idea of self-image on its head with a playful approach to a timeless art form. Leave with a sketchbook to keep drawing whenever inspiration strikes!
