See photos of Mississippi River sites associated with Mark Twain by local contemporary photographer Chris Faust. Compare his photos with 1890s-era cyanotypes made by Henry Bosse, which also will be displayed.

Contemporary American Indian Art From the Upper Midwest Exhibit

The Twin Cities is becoming a center for contemporary American Indian art. This exhibit displays artwork by prominent regional voices such as Ahmoo Angeconeb, Frank Big Bear, Jim Denomie, Pat and Gage Kruse, Star Wallowing Bull and Francis Yellow. On view will be drawings, collage works, paintings and sculpture. The artists work with a variety of traditional western materials such as color pencil, acrylic, ink, paper, canvas as well as traditional indigenous materials such as birchbark and red willow.
Presented in collaboration with the Bockley Gallery.
