The library provides books and other materials to customers who have barriers in getting to the library. The service is provided to residents who can not visit a library due to illness, disability, or visual impairment. At Home is a free service to residents of Hennepin County.
Customers can request materials via At-home by mail phone line, and the items are sent postage-free to the customer.
A volunteer determines with the customer what he or she would like, and requests it from the library. The volunteer brings the materials to the customer's home.
