Mosaic
Artist's Statement: This coat rack is an extension of my interest in early American art, especially young girls' embroidery samples from the mid - to late - 1800's which show off technique in the form of alphabets, simple imagery and verse.

Spiral
by David Culver
at Eden Prairie Library - Exterior
Mosaic
Artist's Statement: The spiral is a powerful symbol of growth. From the center it emanates outward in an expanding progression. It is generated by order, yet seems to bespeak the ethereal, a combination of mathematical and organic.
