Help with Wireless Internet
    at Hennepin County Library
Wireless Internet

Having trouble connecting to the Library's wireless network? PC users can get help by following these steps:

  • Click on the Start button.
  • Click on Help and Support.
  • Type "wireless" into the search box.
  • Click on Connect to an available wireless network (XP) or View and connect to available wireless networks (Vista).
Open your web browser. A greeting screen appears (in place of your home page) asking you to abide by the Library's Internet Public Use Policy & Guidelines. Click on "I Agree" and you can begin using wireless Internet.

If you are unable to reach the "I Agree" page, disconnect from the wireless network (HCL_public) in the Wireless Network Connection Manager. This will refresh the IP address to allow you to connect again.
