Petrozavodsk State University is currently completing a project on digitalizing and publishing the entire collection of newspaper Olonetskiie Gubernskiie Vedomosti (News of Olonets Province, published from 1838-1917) in free access on the Web. By now, most issues (over 4,000) have been processed and can be accessed at: http://ogv.karelia.ru. By the end of 2008, they plan to publish the rest of issues. The website Ogv.karelia.ru also provides access to the bibliography of articles published in the newspaper, and during 2009 they plan to add tables of contents of all issues.
