History
The Saturday Club was organized in Minneapolis in 1899, federated on the state level in 1909 and at the general level in 1919. Each year a theme for study was selected. Meetings were held every other Saturday from October until May. Meetings were held at the home of one of the members on a rotating schedule.
Membership included: Miss Josephine Apfeld, Mrs. H.W. Benton, Mrs. E.C. Carney, Mrs. W.M. Chowning, Mrs. E.A. Edgerton, Mrs. Robert E. Ford, Mrs. William C. Goss, Mrs. Albert Haines, Mrs. C.C. Honey, Mrs. A.O. Hubbard, Mrs. G.A.N. King, Mrs. H.H. Leavitt, Mrs. W.C. Maeder, Miss Marian W. Moir, Mrs. W.W. Moir, Mrs. Geo. B. Norris, Mrs. A.F. Owen, Mrs. J.H. Palmer, Mrs. J.W. Richmond, Mrs. E.E. Smith, Mrs. J.F. Trumbo, and Mrs. D.G. Williams.
