Roosevelt Library hours expanding October 10

Hennepin County’s Roosevelt Library will begin offering expanded hours on Monday, October 10. The new schedule will double the library’s open hours from 24 to 48 hours per week.

New hours will be:

  • Monday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday: Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: CLOSED

Roosevelt is one of nine libraries that offer in-person Homework Help, supported by volunteer tutors. The location of the library, across the street from Roosevelt High School, and increased hours of operation mean that there will be more opportunities for students to benefit from library services.

All Hennepin County residents can access online homework help with HelpNow -- free online tutoring and writing help for K-12 students and adult learners. Get help in English or Spanish. Online tutors are available online every day from 1 to 11 p.m.
