On Monday, January 21 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), Hennepin County libraries are closed.
Eden Prairie Library will be closed for renovation beginning Monday, January 7.
While the library is closed, holds pickup and a book drop for returns will be available at 479 Prairie Center Drive, Eden Prairie. The building currently houses a University of Minnesota Extension Office and previously was a Hennepin County Service Center.
Holds pickup and returns are now available. Interim hold pickup hours:
In February, technology installed at the holds pickup location will allow expanded hours. Also used during the Ridgedale Library renovation, this technology connects to our library card system to authenticate user entry into the space. Access holds pickup by scanning or manually entering your library card barcode at the door. Expanded hours will be 7 a.m.-7 p.m. daily with opening date to be announced later.
Holds with an Eden Prairie Library pickup location will be sent to 479 Prairie Center Drive automatically after the library closes. The pickup location will still show as “Eden Prairie” in your library account online, and in notification emails or phone calls. To select a different pickup location, Ask Us online, by phone at 612-543-KNOW (5669) or in person at any Hennepin County library.
