On Monday, January 21 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), Hennepin County libraries are closed.
Graham Construction, the general contractor for the Oxboro Library renovation project, took possession of the site on August 27.
Exterior demolition is complete, including the former meeting room, entrances and low roof areas. Interior demolition continues this fall, with recent work including the ceiling.
Insulation and waterproofing has started, as well as the layout points for future exterior footings.
The library is scheduled to reopen by the end of spring 2019.
