Oxboro Library reopening celebration July 20

Oxboro Library

Oxboro Library reopens on Wednesday, July 10 at noon following an 11-month renovation.

To celebrate the reopening, join county officials, library staff and neighbors for remarks and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting on Saturday, July 20 at 11 a.m. Throughout the day, participate in an outdoor story stroll and try a cultural craft.

“You never realize just how much we rely on our library until it closes for a few months. Oxboro Library is a central part of life for so many people in Bloomington, especially the family neighborhoods nearby and Valley View Middle School and Elementary School across the street,” said Hennepin County Commissioner Debbie Goettel. “I look forward to celebrating the reopening together with all of the community members and staff who made this renovation possible.”

The library will be open regular hours that day.
