About the art
If you’re not careful, you might overlook these four pieces by David Culver, which wrap the four pillars of the library. The subtle artwork brings a bit of the outdoors in, using semiprecious stones, river rocks, slate, agate, granite, limestone and other fieldstones to provide a sturdy visual anchor.
Artist statement
“I believe this artwork can be a visual guide and anchor for the library. It creates an opportunity for one to have a private visual experience in a public place.”
