Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Hennepin County Library. We are currently looking for adult volunteers to tutor with our Homework Help program.
K-12 homework help volunteer
Work with K-12 youth after school on homework-related projects. Volunteers support students' academic success by helping them develop literacy and mathematics skills, understand homework assignments, and prepare for college. Volunteers work once a week for at least one semester. Experience with youth is helpful. Training is provided. A criminal background check is required.

Local Friends groups are volunteer, membership-based organizations at individual libraries. Varied in size and activities, all share a common goal of supporting and advocating for their local libraries.
