About the art
Award-winning Minnesota photographer Wing Young Huie is known for documenting timely, important topics: He’s tackled diversity, identity, urban life and changing cultural landscapes, to name a few. For this series, he turned his camera on the subject of adoption in America. Here, a singular image of a young woman reading is a perfect fit for the library.
