About the art
The Linden Hills Library is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and if you peek around the space you’ll spy several historic touches. Among them: this trio of stained glass windows, part of the original architecture created by the Minneapolis firm of Bard & Vanderbilt for the new library in 1931. Ensconced in the clear glass are three yellow letters: L L H, standing for Linden Hills Library. The windows were saved and reused after the library remodel and will help carry on the building’s historic legacy for years to come.
