About the art
Motherhood is celebrated in this beautiful sculpture of a mother with children dancing around her by local artist Nick Legeros. Working from his studio and foundry in northeast Minneapolis, Legeros has created many iconic works including a statue of Goldy Gopher at the University of Minnesota’s Coffman Union and the sculpture of Sid Hartman at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis.
