Northeast Library building project
Facilities modification
About the project
Located in northeast Minneapolis, Northeast Library sits in the heart of a thriving arts district and busy commercial area. Northeast Library opened in its current location in 1973 and was fully renovated in 2011.
The current project will include refreshing the interior with new paint, carpet, and some furnishings; adding new play structures in the children’s area and two new study rooms; and completing preservation work while replacing the roof and tuckpointing exterior brick.
