Augsburg Park Library building project update

Progress on the Augsburg Park Library building project is moving along. A few highlights from the first few months of work:
- New light poles, curbs and gutters in parking lot, and sidewalk going in
- Stormwater management work in progress, will provide more green space around the library
- Framing for new study rooms and a new wellness room has begun
Looking ahead:
- Asphalt will soon be laid on the reconfigured parking lot
- New walls will be framed in the interior space
- New furnishings, paint, and carpet will be installed
- Restrooms and meeting rooms will be modernized
The building will remain closed until all work is complete. The library is expected to reopen in spring 2025.
