Work continues on Sumner Library renovation project

Crews are making progress on the Sumner Library renovation project with noticeable changes each week. Recent work highlights include:
- Demolition of old and rough in of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
- Removal and abatement of Vermiculite (asbestos contaminated) insulation
- Framing of walls and preparing for new floor installation
- Widening of walkways and adding ramps for better accessibility to meeting spaces
- Preparing for window restoration
Project updates
