North Regional Library

The spacious two-story North Regional Library in north Minneapolis was built in 1971 and renovated in 2007 and 2020-21. Previously, the community was served by a library in North High School in the 1890s and then for many decades by North Branch Library at 1834 Emerson Avenue North.

Become a volunteer tutor in 2025

Hennepin County Library (HCL) is seeking several volunteer tutors who are passionate about serving youth and families. The Library is expanding capacity to support its successful Let’s Read and Homework Help programs.
