Print from your device
You have three options for sending a document from your own device (cell phone, desktop, etc.) to a library printer.
Option 1: ePRINTit webpage
You can submit multiple documents at the same time. The files will be available to print for 24 hours.
- Go to the ePRINTit webpage - https://tbs.eprintit.com/portal/#/ppl/upload/hcl
- Select the file(s) to be printed.
- Enter your information:
- Your library card number is required.
- Your email and/or cell phone number are optional; enter one or both if you want an email or text confirmation that the file was submitted.
- To print your document(s) at the library, enter your library card number or scan your library card bar code at the print release kiosk.
Option 2: ePRINTit app
You can submit multiple documents at the same time. The files will be available to print for 24 hours.
- Install the Public Print Locations (ePRINTit) app on your device:
- Select the file(s) to be printed and click next.
- Choose the provider: Type in Hennepin to search for Hennepin County Library TBS.
- Select Hennepin County Library and enter your library card number as the Guest Name / Card Number under User Information.
- To print your document(s) at the library, enter your library card number or scan your library card bar code at the print release kiosk.
Option 3: Email
Important: Due to software limitations, free printing allowances (up to $5 per week) are not available using this email method.
You can submit multiple documents at the same time. The files will be available to print for 24 hours.
- Send the document to be printed in an email (either as an attachment or in the body of the email) to:
- Black and white printing: tbs-hcl-bw@ePrintitService.com
- Color printing: tbs-hcl-color@ePrintitService.com
- Go to the print release kiosk at the library to print.
- Enter the first part of your email address to release the print job. Example: if your address is test@gmail.com, then type in “test.”
